USB drivers for this board, and if so when? This OS is only free to upgrade until August, so if they don't fix it to work with peoples hardware we are just out of luck and expected to spend hundreds of dollars replacing perfectly good and top notch hardware This is a major top of the line gaming board, how in the world does a company release a OS that will not work with a major name brand board with something so basic as USB and audio? So does anyone know if ASUS or Microsoft will release working audio and I actually reverted back to win7 once again in order to go to Asus and try and hunt down USB drivers that will work with win10 and my board.Īt the Asus site it said that they will support all AMD and INTEL boards and listed all the chipsets that they will support on older boards and win10. Well, I went to Asus, and for win10 it lists the BIOS that I have been using for over a year, and it had no new drivers for the motherboard other than a audio driver. It then said to go to "your vendor" to get updated drivers. It essentially said that the drivers had errors while loading and had beenĭisabled. With no mouse I finally managed to get to device manager and open it, then went to the USB section and opened the driver information, I should have written it down but I didn't. None worked with either the mouse or the camera.

First thing I did was to try my Nikon USB connection with every USB port I have (8) including one USB 3.0. However I have a Amazon USB mouse, and it was gone, along with several programs that I use were also disabled including Microsoft's own virus package SecurityĮssentials. Yesterday I tried again, this time it actually installed and came up and displayed. Way back when they made Win10 available for update/install from win7, it failed completely, (August 2015) however it did thankfully revert back to Win7 without a hitch.
